Hello. My name is Koma and I am a student at the University of Tampa. Like JFK said, we all must think about how we can make a difference in the world. Over the past year, I was able to achieve so much. I unlocked potential I did not know I had. I used to think that I could never be anyone or go anywhere until this great experience came into my life. I want to use this new found passion for education and my acquired knowledge to make change.
I have worked very hard to be focused and to have a vision: a vision of hope for a brighter future. I discovered that I was changing with a growth mindset and an optimistic spirit to influence others by inspiring them. I was quickly emerging as a leader in business and on campus. Also, I improved my communication and mathematical skills. I knew I was learning because after working with the professors and tutors daily, I understood the material, was capable of solving problems, and had discovered the power to analyze.
Next, I got involved on campus. I took a bold step and participated in WUTT Spartan Radio Club. My willingness to go to local businesses on behalf of the club and contribute to promoting club activities led to extraordinary opportunities. The club was able to work with many organizations, complete goals, and I even landed the position as the Program Director!
My plan is to keep moving forward. When I graduate my dream is to start a real estate business with the mission to serve the community and help those families who cannot afford housing. I don’t yet have all the tools needed to achieve my goal and I have many obstacles to fight through. This battle is not going to be easy, but it is possible and I believe together we can do it.
For this reason, I am asking for your support. I need help to continue my education at the University of Tampa. If you are able, I kindly appreciate your support. I promise to work hard and make you proud.
