My name is Kevin Christley. I’m a 58‑year‑old disabled USAF veteran, artist, and longtime Star Wars cosplayer. I’ve never had much, but I’ve always tried to give what I could — whether through my art, volunteering, or simply being there for others. My two rescue dogs have been my lifeline, keeping me grounded and alive through some of the hardest years of my life.
For several years now, I’ve been living with chronic, inoperable back pain and severe lower abdominal pain. Since Christmas, things have gotten worse. I’ve developed debilitating vertigo that causes sudden falls — the kind that leave me injured and unable to safely work or even stand for long. The VA is helping with prescriptions, but I’m still waiting on disability benefits, and that process moves painfully slow.
Right now, I’m facing something I never imagined: losing my home. My trailer is fully paid off, but I’m behind on the lot rent. If I can’t catch up soon, I’ll lose the only stable place I have — along with the safety it provides for me and my dogs.
Asking for help is incredibly hard for me. I’m a proud person, and I’ve always believed in standing on my own two feet. But I’m out of time, out of options, and doing everything I can to keep a roof over my head while I fight for my disability rating.
I’m not asking for a handout — just a hand‑up to get through this critical moment. If you can donate, share, or simply spread the word, it truly makes a difference. Every bit of support helps me stay in my home and keep moving forward.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for reading and for caring.
