​Freya is a beautiful, friendly, inquisitive Rottweiler with a heart as big as her playful spirit. She is the world to her owner, Joanne. Freya is not only a cherished companion but also Joanne's reason for getting up every day, offering vital emotional support, especially since Joanne is disabled.

​A year ago, Freya suffered a tear to the ACL (cruciate ligament) in her left back leg. Joanne, being the incredible owner she is, found a way to secure the \text{£}5,000 needed to pay for the initial operation, requiring her to borrow the funds.

​Now, heartbreakingly, disaster has struck again. While playing in the garden, Freya injured her right ACL ligament. She is now facing another crucial operation on her other leg.

​Freya is currently confined to crate rest, unable to walk normally, and is clearly in pain. Seeing her in this condition is incredibly distressing for Joanne.

​Joanne is one of the kindest and most generous people I know—my chosen family. She is always the first to offer her help to anyone who needs it, and now it is our turn to return that favour.
