Hi, my name is Chris. I lost my job at the end of September and despite actively searching, I haven’t been able to secure work yet. Since then, I’ve used all of my savings and leaned on the generosity of family and close friends just to stay afloat. I can’t ask more of them, they’ve already helped me more than I can express.

I’ve reached a point where I’m falling behind. My mortgage deferral will be ending soon, my car is at risk of repossession, and I’m struggling to keep up with basic necessities like utilities and my phone. Asking for help is incredibly difficult, but I’m out of options and trying to prevent this setback from becoming permanent.
