Emergency Need of $40,000 for coal!

For thirteen years our coal guy has faithfully committed to supplying Old School Lives with coal to keep us warm in the winter and has blessed us immeasurably. Last year many people showed us what commitment to OSL and our community has meant by paying down some of our coal debt, however we are in an emergency situation now and need to pay off our outstanding coal bill of $40,000 in the next 3 weeks.

Our donations and grant options have been extremely limited this year due to our lack of a 501(c)3 status, however we are in the process of filing and having that restored. We fully expect this to be restored and all donations to be retroactively considered a tax deduction, in the meantime we are still depending on donations to keep the programs of Old School Lives alive. We believe in community and have plans to only strengthen that vision in our communities.
