URGENT: 48 Hours to Save the Home of a Dialysis Patient & Atlanta Veteran
I never thought I would find myself here, but I'm out of options-and I'm asking for your help to save my home.
"My name is Glen Claiborne. I am 62 years old, a father, and a former entrepreneur who helped drive the spirit of Atlanta. Today, I am fighting Stage 5 Kidney Failure and a multi-billion dollar bank that is trying to take my home based on an error they already admitted to making. I have until January 20, 2026, to raise $8,779.00 for the Chapter 13 Trustee to keep our front door locked against an illegal foreclosure."
"For years, I was a part of the heartbeat of this city. I worked for So So Def Recordings with Jermaine Dupri and operated GLS Transportations, Inc. I was a man who provided for my family and my community. But life changed fast. Layoffs and the shift in the transportation industry forced me onto a new path driving tour buses, until my body gave out. I was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Failure. Now, I spend three days a week in a dialysis chair just to stay alive for my 16-year-old son."
"My nightmare with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. began in June 2017. If I lose my home, it won't be because I didn't pay—it will be because the bank misapplied four of my payments and refused to fix it, even after their own Escalation Manager, Glenda Gollwitzer, was recorded in 2018 saying: 'The error was verified... I’m taking all your payments that are misapplied, and I’m correcting the error.' They admitted the error, then spent years trying to foreclose anyway." Even after I filed for bankruptcy on May 5, 2025—which legally triggers an Automatic Stay—they ignored federal law and sold my home on the courthouse steps the very next day.
The Immediate Crisis: "To keep the court from dismissing my case and allowing the bank to move forward with a wrongful foreclosure, I must pay:
• $8,779.00 to the Chapter 13 Trustee by January 20, 2026.
• $945.52 for my monthly mortgage payment to Chase.
• $50,000.00 in total for the specialized legal team needed to void the illegal sale and hold the bank accountable for stay violations."
I have sacrificed everything to keep a roof over my son's head. I sold my paid-off work truck just to pay the bankruptcy court. Currently, my only transportation is a 2007 truck that is unreliable and needs work. We now walk to the store for basic needs.
The stress is physically killing me. In December 2025, the weight of this injustice literally stopped my heart. I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance after passing out. My 16-year-old son lives in constant fear, watching his father fight for every breath and every brick of our home.
"URGENT: $8,779 Needed by Jan 20th to Stop Eviction".
"The bank admitted to misapplying 4 of my payments. I just need 400 people to donate $22 to hit my emergency trustee goal."
Please, if you cannot donate, share this link. Every time this story is shared, it puts pressure on the bank to answer for the laws they have ignored and the false statements they have filed. Help me ensure that my home isn't stolen by an admitted error
