Please help save my neighbor and his family from losing home

I'm raising funds for my next-door neighbor. Ashley Marshall suffered a back injury at work 2 years ago, has needed multiple spinal surgeries, and still has one more surgery to go. Short-term disability expired, and it has become a legal battle with his employer. He supports a large family and has managed to keep his head above water, but now the bills are piling up. His lawyers are saying there might not be a settlement until possibly next year.

In the meantime, he's at serious risk of losing everything if he doesn't get some help ASAP. If you could spare a donation to help him and his family, it would go a long way to help them survive this tough time

Here are some things to know about our wonderful neighbor.

He has been coaching the Buffalo Grove Bills for 3 years. Two years middle weight and one year as varsity. He is also helping coach 6th and 7th grade girls Basketball. Coach Marshall also has children himself who are all athletes. He has 2 daughters who attend Cooper Middle school, both of which play basketball and Volleyball. He also has a son and daughter who attend Buffalo Grove high school and play Varsity football as well as track and field. He also has an adorable 4 year old daughter at home. Ashley has worked for years for the Chicago CTA. The fall accident caused a massive back injury as he has already had his L2 and L3 disks replaced. While recovering from the initial surgery, he was informed he now needs another surgery for his L4 and L5 disks as well. This accident happened September of 2022 and since then he has not been able to return to work. His worker's compensation and health insurance has been revoked as of May this year. His fiancé also suffered a near fatal heart attack this recent April and is not able to go back to work either.

This entire family has been a joy to live next to for so many years. It breaks my heart so see them struggling this way. I really hope we can get him the help he needs to get him and his family through this difficult and unfortunate situation. Thank you for your consideration.
