Urgent Help for DJ Brown Suga' and Buddy the Pup

Hello! I'm Little Bear, aka DJ Brown Suga', a volunteer host of my own music radio show 'ROCK SISTAS RIOT RADIO' on KEPW 98.3 FM LP Peaceworks Community Radio in Eugene, OR.

Unfortunately, my life has taken a tough turn - I lost my job two weeks ago due to circumstances beyond my control. Now, I'm facing homelessness with my service pup, Buddy, and we're currently living in a motel.

The past 3 years have been incredibly challenging. My Papa and brother passed to the spirit world due to Covid, just four days apart. My Papa was my hero and his loss continues to be a devastating blow. Despite having health issues of my own, I've been determined to honor a promise I made to make him proud by completing my welding certification.

However, financial struggles have forced me to prioritize Buddy's needs and keep a roof over our heads.

Over the past five years, I've remained committed to my music radio show, empowering women in the arts despite facing numerous challenges.

My goal is to raise $2k to secure a room at a hotel for a month. It will give me time to score another interview and get my first paycheck. I need to renew my pups shots and get him checked out by the vet, which will cost about $250. I will need to get a bus pass for a month ($50) to get to work. All other funds will go towards my phone bill, storage unit, groceries, and dog food.
