Urgent Help for Alexas and Matthew's Family

Hello! My name is Alexas Dickinson, and my husband’s name is Matthew Perkins. We both work in the special education field and absolutely adore what we do! We have a beautiful life, a beautiful home, and most importantly, we have a beautiful family.

A little bit about us. We met at school in 2021. We worked alongside each other and were the best of friends! Some would say, “the peanut butter to one's jelly!” We started to develop a sense of really enjoying one another’s company, and Matthew decided the way to get my heart was to place a chocolate chip cookie on my desk and walk away. Well, as you see here, it worked! We have been together ever since and are approaching our first year of being married on February 23rd.

Matthew has a bachelor's degree in IT and a SPED teaching certification. He volunteers to help the youth group at church, has dedicated his life to helping others, and has been nothing but a blessing to the children at school and our household. He has worked in the SPED department for 3 years and has been a coach for 1, leading his girls to win championships! Now he is a resource teacher helping the kids who need a little extra push and more one-on-one time to help meet their goals—whether it’s to read, write, be on grade level, etc. Our lives were amazingly peaceful and simple, until recently.

The past 2 weeks have been the worst weeks of our lives. We have had some very serious news dropped on us, and our whole world has completely flipped upside down. With us now facing the question of “what’s going to happen next?” we are in desperate need of help.

We are in need of at least $10,000 to cover the fees we are being faced with. Due to these fees and us not knowing where they are going to come from, we are facing losing our home, being in debt for years, and not knowing our family’s future. God nudged me to try a GoFundMe in the event this message would reach someone’s heart as my heart is pleading for help.

No matter what life throws our way, our family will remain strong, and we will have faith in our Lord and Savior.
