❤️Four tiny patriots were dumped in a box on the side of a Kentucky highway by someone who chose cruelty over even the most basic human compassion. A Good Samaritan found them, contacted GRRAND, and we said yes without hesitation.
All four golden-mix puppies have now tested positive for parvo and are fighting for their lives.
Betsy Ross, Martha, and George Washington are all hospitalized at a veterinary clinic. Parvo is a fast-moving, deadly virus, and their care costs $1,500 per puppy per day. They will need multiple days of intensive treatment to survive.
Little, the smallest in the group, has tested positive but is not currently symptomatic. She will receive antibodies via IV and fluids and be sent home if she tolerates them. If not, she will also be admitted.
These puppies were thrown away like trash. Today, they are loved, protected, and fighting because GRRAND stepped in — and our community always shows up when it matters most.
We need you now more than ever.
Let’s show Betsy Ross, George Washington, Martha Washington, and Little what true compassion looks like. You can make a difference by donating today to Golden Retriever Rescue and Adoption of Needy Dogs.
