Hello!! My name is Painter, I'm sophomore in college and I just recently found out it's very likely that my 3 year old ESA (orange tabby cat) Captain Nemo has FIP, which once considered a fatal disease, now is treatable but the medication costs between 2-8k dollars. I've been having my own health issues making it difficult to work + my job pays very little to begin with and this is a condition where fast action is required but I lack the funds to do so. I've already had several x rays and blood work tests for him done and I'm still currently paying those off and I have no clue how I'll be able to afford 4k more. He's been a big part of my life and I'm hoping I can afford this treatment so he can live a fulfilling and hopefully long existence.
