Help Animalia to continue saving wildlife!
Hello and thank you for reading this page.
Animalia Wildlife shelter is a registered non profit organisation in Frankston, Victoria. (Australia)
Animalia rescues and rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife.
Like all wildlife shelters, Animalia, is run by volunteers. Michelle Thomas is the Founder/President. The shelter is run out of her home. It is financed from her own pocket and relies heavily on donations from the public. The problem with this is that Covid-19 Lockdowns in Melbourne has left Michelle and her husband with very limited work over the past 18months. It has also meant that Animalia has not been able to hold the fundraisers that they normally would. Normally regular bunnings sausage sizzles and a large Trivia night fundraiser are held each year. With lockdowns still in place and no idea about when restrictions will ease enough to be able to hold the fundraisers Animalia is in a critical condition financially.
Animalia do so much for our native wildlife... from helping orphaned babies who's mums have been hit by cars or shot, to helping baby ibis' who were cruelly set on fire and flying foxes caught in barbed wire or suffering from heat stress. Can you please spare anything at all to try and help Animalia Wildlife Shelter to continue to help our native wildlife? Spring is just around the corner and that is typically when wildlife shelters are inundated with animals... Then summer isn't far behind that which is the busiest rescue period!
