Université de Moncton-MedLife voyage médical au Pérou

Nous sommes un groupe de six étudiants de l’Université de Moncton (Pacifik Légèr, Félix Martin, Cédric Thériault, David Zhang, Lina Khedhri et Léonore Bolland). La plupart d’entre nous sommes en première année du DSS (Programme Préparatoire aux Sciences de la Santé) et avons un intérêt marqué pour la santé et l’entraide, ce qui nous a motivés à nous impliquer avec MedLife pour un projet humanitaire au Pérou.

MedLife est une organisation à but non lucratif qui travaille avec des communautés à faibles revenus en Amérique latine et en Afrique afin d’améliorer l’accès aux soins médicaux, à l’éducation et aux projets de développement communautaire. Ce voyage représente une belle opportunité d’apprentissage sur le terrain tout en ayant un impact concret auprès des populations locales. Nous aurons la chance de participer à des cliniques mobiles pour offrir des soins de base, distribuer des biens essentiels et contribuer à des projets locaux qui feront une réelle différence.

We are a group of students at the Université de Moncton planning a humanitarian trip to Peru, organized to provide aid to the most vulnerable communities. The main goal of this project is to offer medical care, distribute essential goods, and support the local population in general.

We are a group of six first-year students at the Université de Moncton, (Pacifik Légèr, Félix Martin, Cédric Thériault, David Zhang, Lina Khedhri et Léonore Bolland), enrolled in the DSS program (Pre-Medical Sciences Program), with a common ambition of becoming doctors. Most of us are from Moncton and Edmundston, New-Brunswick. One of our greatest passions is helping others, which is why we have joined the organization MedLife to undertake this humanitarian journey to Peru.

MedLife is a non-profit organization that collaborates with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to healthcare, education, and community development projects. With the ultimate goal of fighting poverty, MedLife offers students the opportunity to become change-makers by participating in learning trips. The organization recruits and trains teams to provide high-quality care 24/7. The team also has the chance to implement community development projects and organize educational workshops to empower communities in need.
