Desde 2022, Luis Javier Ordaz, ex grande liga nacido en Maracaibo, Venezuela, ha

estado enfrentando una de las batallas más duras de su vida. Valiente, resiliente y con

el temple que siempre mostró en el terreno de juego, hoy atraviesa una prueba de vida:

el síndrome carcinoide, una enfermedad rara, compleja y agotadora.

Durante este tiempo, aunque el seguro médico ha cubierto gran parte del tratamiento

tradicional, los gastos relacionados con terapias complementarias, suplementos,

sueros, alimentación especializada y traslados han sido asumidos completamente por

él y su familia. Lo han hecho con fe y con esperanza, sosteniéndose lo más posible,

pero hoy ya no pueden continuar solos.

United for Life: Help Luis Ordaz Williams in His Fight Against Carcinoid Syndrome

Since 2022, Luis Javier Ordaz Williams, a former Major League Baseball player born

in Maracaibo, Venezuela, has been facing one of the toughest battles of his life.

Courageous, resilient, and always with the determination he displayed on the field, he is

now facing a life challenge: carcinoid syndrome, a rare, complex, and exhausting

disease.

During this time, while his health insurance has covered much of the traditional

treatment, the costs related to complementary therapies, supplements, infusions,

specialized nutrition, and travel have been fully covered by him and his family.

They have done this with faith and hope, holding on as much as possible, but today,

they can no longer continue on their own.

Why do we need your help now?
