Uninsured Medical Expenses for Widespread Cancer

I am initiating this fundraiser for my dear friend Susan Fallon. She is in the fight of her life against multiple cancers throughout her body. She is fighting as hard as she can, but it has been an uphill battle which has been compounded by severe financial constraints.

Susan was a dedicated public servant and public-school teacher for most of her adult life. She truly adored her young charges and went way above and beyond to nurture them and ensure that they each felt loved and successful, often spending a portion of her salary to help her students and their families in need. Susan had a positive impact on so many lives!!

The Covid shutdown was a very hard time for Susan. Afterward she tried so hard to resume her beloved career as a caring teacher, but due to escalating health concerns was eventually unable to do so. As so often happens in the teaching profession, there was no financial cushion for her to fall back on.

Susan tried many avenues to support herself and contribute to the lives of her two children. She lived more frugally than anyone I’ve ever known. She was unable to afford medical insurance. So, this devastating medical crisis is truly putting her under. Her greatest concern is for the well-being of her two children and their future.
