Unexpected Medical Bills & Loss(Michael Tijerina)

Hi everyone!
I'm making this page today in hopes of helping my father, Michael Tijerina, and family. These past few months has brought many hardships, difficulties, and out of work.
My father started having medical problems in late December of 2018 after getting diagnosed with Diabetes. Due to her concern, she then referred him to a Hematologist in February where they checked his levels. There they figured out his Platelets (tiny blood cells that help your body form clots to stop bleeding) were extremely low. 150,000-45,000 is the normal range for your platelets, the lowest he got to was 2000.
Cancer was on the doctors mind, which then led her to have him undergo a bone marrow aspiration and many other painful tests to make sure he didn't have a type of blood cancer. Thankfully they were negative, but led to great confusion on to what was going on. He was admitted to the hospital February 28th 2019 and on strict restrictions due to the low platelet count and possible bleeding out from even a simple cut from a razor. He bruised like a peach and was on several medications throughout this stay to try to bring his 2000 platelet level up to a somewhat normal range. They tried platelet transfusions, Rituximab (which is used to treat Lymphocytic Leukemia) & NPlate injections (that he is still getting weekly).
On March 14th 2019, he finally got to go home, discharged with ITP, Thrombocytopenia, Petechiae, and Cellulitis. Since February he has been through a lot, and has still not been able to return to work.
If you know my father, he's very private and prideful when it comes to his personal life and asking for help. Growing up my dad wouldn't complain about anything or ask for anything. He's always taught us to stay strong, work for what we want, and to never stop until we reach our goals. Seeing him in pain, bruised up, and hooked up to machines is scary. And knowing he's suffering financially because of a stacking pile of medical bills from an unexpected illness is sad.
If you could help out, I would greatly appreciate it & i know he will to. We are looking into doing a benefit BBQ as well if you can't contribute today and still wanna help.
