Mensaje de mi hermana Noemí, esposa de Junior:
Con el alma y el corazón destrozados, les comparto la triste noticia de la partida de mi esposo, Junior Antonio Leiva Romero, quien falleció de forma instantánea en un accidente automovilístico el pasado 1 de marzo a las 2:13 de la madrugada. Fue un golpe inesperado que ha dejado un vacío inmenso en nuestras vidas y en nuestra familia.
Tristemente, Junior deja a dos niños: una niña de 9 años y un niño de 5 años. Es doloroso saber que sus hijos, su familia y yo no lo volveremos a ver.
Créanme que es muy difícil para mí como madre y como esposa; lo más duro es cuando mis hijos me preguntan por él. El niño aún espera a su papá y eso me parte el alma. No sé ni cómo explicarles este dolor inmenso de enfrentar una realidad donde él ya no está.
Quienes conocieron a Junior saben que era una persona humilde, siempre dispuesto a ayudar a los demás y a su familia. Tenía un gran amor por sus hijos y amistades, y se esforzaba cada día para salir adelante y luchar por ellos. Fue mi mejor compañero y siempre estuvo presente para nosotros. Su partida es un dolor que no se puede explicar.
Nadie está preparado para una pérdida así, ni emocional ni financieramente. En estos momentos tan difíciles, recurrimos a su generosidad para poder retirar el cuerpo aquí en Estados Unidos y también cubrir los costos de los servicios funerarios y la repatriación de su cuerpo a su país natal, Nicaragua.
Los fondos recaudados se utilizarán para:
• Retiro de cuerpo
• Gastos de los servicios funerarios
• Repatriación de su cuerpo a Nicaragua

With a shattered heart, I share the devastating news of the passing of my husband, Junior Antonio Leiva Romero. Junior’s life was taken instantly in a tragic car accident on March 1st at 2:13 AM. This unexpected tragedy has left an immense void in our lives and our family.
Junior leaves behind two beautiful children: a 9-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy. It is heartbreaking to know that his children, his family, and I will never see him again.
As a mother and a wife, this is incredibly difficult. The hardest part is when my children ask for him. My youngest is still waiting for his daddy to come home, and it breaks my soul. I don’t even know how to explain this immense pain or how to face a reality where he is no longer with us.
Those who knew Junior know he was a humble person, always ready to help others and his family. He had a deep love for his children and his friends, and he worked hard every single day to provide for them. He was my best companion and was always there for us. His departure is a pain that cannot be put into words.
No one is ever prepared for a loss like this—neither emotionally nor financially. In these difficult times, we turn to your generosity to help us with the release of his body here in the United States and to cover the funeral services and repatriation to his native country, Nicaragua.
