Ukraine - Friends in Need - Relocation

Hi everyone. Last year my daughters and I met a special family while searching for our new hairless cat Star. I saw a picture of Star on a well respected sphinx breeder Facebook page and inquired. I was surprised and a little daunted when I found out her (Star) and her family live in eastern Europe! This is how I met Maxim and his beautiful mother Tana. They are very warm and kind people. The biggest and most dedicated cat lovers. We just clicked and have stayed in touch since Star came to join our family in Canada last spring. Obviously I was worried about them as the threat of war grew in eastern Europe. Maxim assured me they felt safe and planned to stay. They are reevaluating this decision now and feel they need to leave for their safety. They live near Odessa, Ukraine and are hoping to join close family in Portugal if however possible. I am not able to send them alot of money myself, but I will send what I can spare, and wanted to help them raise as much money for their relocation as I could. I care for these people and can absolutely vouch for them...I mean I bought an exotic cat from them and wired money, call me crazy but sometimes you just have to go with your gut. I will continue to stay in touch with them ongoing and please send them your positive thoughts and prayers. If you can help, please consider donating.
