Help Udo get a kidney transplant
Donation protected
In February 2017, Moses Udokaeze Amadi (Udo), a 38 year old married father of 3 beautiful children fell ill. I grew up with Udo, my uncle, in Port Harcourt.
He was being treated for malaria and typhoid fever when he was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease that led to a retention of excess fluid in his body and then a breakdown of function of his heart and other vital organs. Udo's heart has since resumed normal function in response to medication.
Udo has undergone more than 25 sessions of dialysis at an average cost of $159 (~N50,000) for each session. He is expected to get a kidney transplant as soon as possible.
The transplant is estimated to cost about $40,000 (~ N12,610,000), which is way beyond the reach of his family. Please help support Udo’s family in this trying time as they try to raise the funds needed for him to undergo a kidney transplant. Any amount contributed will be greatly appreciated. Udo is being treated at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.
