To those who don’t know, these past few weeks have brought some heavy news for our family. My mom, Yvonne Callicott, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer that has spread to a few other places. She has had some pain over the past few months and finally got the results two weeks ago.

They’re not entirely sure if it’s clear cell carcinoma or adenocarcinoma, but it’s very aggressive and has metastasized into her bladder, lymph nodes inside and outside her pelvis as well as a spot on her lung and some muscle involvement. All this has happened since a clear MRI in April.

We are unsure of the outcome but the doctors have not given very great expectations even with chemo. They are suggesting it would “buy her some time” but would not be curative. However, we are praying for a miracle!

Please keep us in your prayers as we navigate this difficult time and pray for God’s peace (and healing). We trust God fully and in my Dad’s (Jeff’s) words,

“We trust God with our lives and know that there is no better place to be than in His arms of love!!”
