Tyson Lomax kidney fund
It all started over a week ago with what we thought was just a stomach bug or the flu but, when Tyson still wasn’t getting better and he started to look very bloated and swollen all over it was time to go to the emergency room.
Once there it was clear there was a serious problem. He was quickly transported down to Florida Hospital South for Children in Orlando to be admitted on the children’s ICU floor.

Biopsy is over. It went good. He is asleep. Going to do 4 hours of dialysis this afternoon. If they can get it to go thru, if problems happen like yesterday they will have to go back in and redo the lines in his neck. Doctor thinks either has Lupus or Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis("MPGN"). But biopsy results will tell. Results should be back tomorrow afternoon. And, I got a shower...☺
So we are still waiting and now it seems there might be blood filling in his chest so a chest x-ray is in order.
He is hanging on like the tough guy that he is and my sister is staying strong and being 100% supportive. Of course though she’s his mom.
As his progress unfolds updates will be made but he is still not out of the woods yet.
Heather my sister was able to add him on to her insurance just in the nik of time because she thought it wouldn’t be necessary for him because he is such a Health young boy. So luckily she has a $11,000 dollar deductible verses $100,000 dollar hospital bill! I am asking you today to reach out and if you can donate anything to help her pay for this hospital and medical journey that she has now begun. Thank you!
