Hello, my name is Sean. I’m a blue belt who, in the spirit of growth and learning, once thought it would be cool to attempt a kani basami on a black belt which went horribly wrong and I caused a traumatic leg injury —and well, those moments are an unfortunate part of the journey!
Today, I’m reaching out to ask for your support for Tyler, a dedicated black belt instructor at The Academy of Combat Arts of Fargo. Tyler has recently suffered a serious injury, fracturing his fibula and tibia, which has temporarily taken him out of work. As a hardworking blue-collar worker and family man, Tyler is facing the challenge of surgery and recovery, and he needs our help.
I understand firsthand how tight finances can be, especially in tough times. That’s why I’m doing what I can to make a difference—by spreading awareness and rallying our community to support someone who has given so much to martial arts and to his family.
Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a huge difference. Thank you for your kindness and support.
