Help Melissa Heal

Approximately three years ago, our dear loved one, Melissa Tarachand, was tragically met with life-changing news. After not having smoked a day in her life, Melissa was shocked to hear that she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer with bone metastasis. As a result, she has severe nerve damage to her right leg, which has presented an immense challenge to her mobility. Melissa has undergone extensive chemotherapy and experimental trials. With hopes that this would make her better, this was unfortunately not the case. She is currently going through consistent radiation in hopes of alleviating her conditions.

For those who know Melissa, she is a bright, hardworking and loving woman. Melissa is a 38 year old wife and mother to two young & beautiful children. Prior to her diagnosis, Tarachand was a montessori daycare provider who loves helping children and others. In her free time, she loves having picnics in the park with her family, always taking pictures to cherish the memories!

We are asking for your help to support Melissa in her journey to recovery. As you might imagine, this illness has taken quite the toll physically, emotionally and financially. With a heavy heart, our family kindly asks that you help to relieve Melissa in her strain, so she can focus on becoming better for both herself and her family.
