This year, as I turn 25, I’m choosing to celebrate a little differently.

Instead of gifts or parties, I want to use this birthday to bring hope to someone who truly needs it - little Rahela.

Rahela is just four years old. In 2024, her life changed forever when she was diagnosed with leukaemia. She is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy at the Fundeni Clinical Institute in Bucharest, Romania, bravely facing a battle no child should ever have to fight. She remains in hospital, cared for day and night by her mother.

Rahela is the youngest of six children in a loving family. Her parents, Cosmin and Crina, are doing everything they can to stay strong for her and their other children. Alongside the emotional toll, the financial pressure is overwhelming — frequent long-distance travel to the hospital (120–150 km), treatment-related expenses, time away from work, house repairs and the day-to-day costs of keeping their family afloat during this unimaginable time.

For my birthday, my wish is simple: to help ease even a small part of this burden for Rahela and her family.

All funds raised will go directly to her parents to support medical-related costs, travel, and essential living expenses, allowing them to focus fully on what matters most: Rahela’s healing and comfort.
