Tri Central High School Esports Overwatch Team

Hello! My name is Nate Turnpaugh. I'm a volunteer and coach of the Overwatch Esports Team at Tri Central Community School Corporation in Sharpsville, Indiana.

We were just approved by our administration and the Indiana Esports League to start our eSports program at our school. We are a really small school, so we lack the funding to provide our teams with the proper equipment to compete on the level necessary.

Members of our faculty have attempted to reach out to the state for the proper grant to help provide the funds we need. We've yet to hear back about said grant. As you know, grants usually take a ridiculous amount of time to be approved. Our team has already had to forfeit our first game. Two more and they will ask us to drop out for the season.

I've taken the initiative to create this GoFundMe in order to procure and donate 5 Xbox Series X and televisions to the Tri Central Overwatch Team to use to compete on the same level with the other schools.

Personally, I believe in this group of kids and to take away their chances, merely due to funding issues is unfair to them and to the school.
