Support for the Tremblay's

As most of you know, Jenn, Karl and Ben were a family of three and welcomed amazing twin boys, Jacob and Matthew into their lives in February. To say it has been a roller coaster since is an understatement! Not only do they now have 3 boys under the age of 2, little Matthew was born with some tricky conditions (VACTERL association and Goldenhar syndrome). Due to complications of his conditions, he has already undergone surgery (on his second day in this world) and has been in and out of Sick Kids hospital numerous times. Most recently he is having breathing and swallowing difficulties requiring constant oxygen monitoring, a nasogastric feeding tube, and a nasopharyngeal tube to help keep his airway open. All of these things combined are requiring Matthew to be in hospital for the unforeseen future until they can figure out how to safely send him home. Jenn and Karl have been unbelievably strong through this journey and they have amazing friends and family supporting them. Ben has been taken care of by her amazing parents on and off and Jenn and Karl have kept Jacob (the other twin) with them at the hospital. Karl has been unable to work since the babies have been born so he can try to support his famly as much as he can in person. He has started going back to work on a very modified schedule to make things easier for the family. They have been lucky with a spot at the Ronald McDonald house to make things more affordable during this long hospital admission. The first 3 months of this little guy's life are not what anyone expects having a new baby.
