Treatment for FQ Toxicity

In the summer of 2015, I came down with walking pneumonia. The doctor prescribed Levaquin, a fluoroquinolone (FQ) antibiotic, and steroids to treat it. Taking these medicines led to me being "floxed" (the term given for people who have suffered ill consequences from these kinds of antibiotics). Shortly afterwards, my health started to deteriorate. Some of the side effects that developed were muscle weakness, fatigue, vertigo, musculoskeletal pain, anxiety, and brain and memory issues. Visits to specialists and multiple tests gave no answers. I did not know what was happening with my health until mid 2016, when my wife read about FQ Toxicity and the FDA's box warning on fluoroquinolone antibiotics. As she read the list of symptoms, I identified with almost all of them.  Over these last 5 years, all of these symptoms (and more) have become chronic. Other issues developed, like the complete rupturing of the quadriceps tendon of my left leg in September of 2018.  FQ Toxicity is a recently identified problem and doctors are finally developing treatments for it. Ultimately, what happens to people who have been "floxed" is that the mitochondria in their cells are damaged, which leads to a rapid reproduction of bad cells and eventually to all the problems "floxed" people face.  I recently found by God's providence a place in Grand Junction, CO that provides treatment for FQ toxicity.  The treatment is a week of daily IV therapies to detox from any remaining FQs in my system, to replace any lost minerals or metals, and to repair the damage to the mitochondria of my cells. Afterwards, there is a regimen of supplements and dieting to continue the healing process. The money I'm trying to raise will cover doctor's consultation fees, testing that I need, the IV therapies, travel to and from Grand Junction, and the lodging and food while there.
