Treatment for Sweet Baby Jayden

This page is being created with the permission of Michelle Carroll and David Weiner for the treatment of their son Jayden.  They are so thankful at the amount of love and support they have recieved thus far and they thank you in advance for any support you might be able to offer.  They have a treatment plan in place that will include both conventional and holestic approaches in order to get their strong little man back to himself.  

Last Tuesday Jayden was diagnosed with Epilepsy. We noticed a few weeks after his vaccinations he started with a tiny leg twitch. We thought he was stretching because it happened a few times after his nap. On November 4th, i noticed it was now his bilateral lower extremities. The weekend had passed, he seemed ok. On the morning of the 8th, i witnessed something that a parent should never have to see. Jayden was having seizure that lasted several minutes. When he came out of it we rushed him to CHOP. They admitted him for several days on a continuous EEG, video surveillance and he had an MRI. The tests confirmed that he is having seizures and they are coming from a central location in his brain. Because of his age, the drs said we really wont know whats causes the seizures until he is about 2 years old when his brain is a little more developed. We mentioned vaccines and their response was, its possible, but highly unlikely. Wednesday evening they started him on .5 ml of Trileptal increasing by .5 every week. At week 4 he will be at the recommended dose of 2 ml. We were discharged Thursday evening. In those 3 days he had about 30 seizures visible to the human eye and he would also have about 2-3 per day that were only captured by EEG. The drs felt confident releasing us with medication to treat and following up in a few weeks with bloodwork and another EEG in about 4 weeks. Since we got home last Thursday night Jayden has had over 45 seizures. Of course when i got home i decided to do my own research. I joined a few fb groups and the amount of parents i have talked to over the past few days with the EXACT same thing happening to their babies who are around 5 months old, makes me SICK to my stomach. Jayden averages 7-10 per day seizures and they start right when he wakes up. His seizures last between 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Once 4 minutes passes we have to call 911 bc basically anything close to 15 minutes or more is damaging to the brain. Im not saying this to create fear and im not telling you dont vaccinate your kids...but I am asking you to PLEASE do your research. Many of these vaccines have severe side effects...seizures is one of them. You can find this information right on the insert of the vaccine itself or on the CDC website. The information is out there guys. I would hate to see another family face the pain we are living with on a daily basis. This is NOT ok.

I have strong faith that he is going to be ok. We have been researching 24/7 different holistic detox treatments all over the US, to work side by side with the treatment he is getting at CHOP. We will all be having genetic testing done before we can start the detox. I believe we have found someone in North Carolina to treat our little guy.
