Treatment Facility Save Dean
PLEASE Stop, Read & Pray
If you could save a life would you?
Well, you have an opportunity to do just that!
Our family needs love, compassion and lots of prayers. Our nephew Dean Kratochwil has been battling drug addiction for many years.
As many of you know Dean is a very hard working kid. He has a great talent as a mechanic and went really far with Honda being a mechanic immediately out of high school.
Dean began to use drugs. I guess the first real time I noticed it was during his grandmother’s funeral service and during dinner the same day.
Dean went down a path of getting in trouble with the law. He was very aggressive with his Mom and Dad to the point the police was called. Dean has slept in his car at night numerous times. He has been kicked out of girlfriends homes. Sometimes he goes missing for days and just shows back up.
The family has tried many different facilities to try and get Dean help. Most of the time he would be good for a few days or weeks and then go back to his old life. Sometimes, he even left facilities without completing treatment. When Dean is sober, he is awesome! But, when he is not sober everyone is walking on eggshells.
Dean has spent time in jail and it helped him. But, since he has been out we started to notice he was going down the wrong path again. Soon, we were notified that he was dropped off at the hospital (not sure by who) but he required Narcan multiple times to bring him back.
Several weeks ago, Dean was working and doing okay. We were seeing some red flags. He went to work and they sent him home in an Uber. His Mom was all alone and the Uber driver had her follow him to the car. In the back of the car was Dean. Nonresponse, his Mom thought he was dead. She slapped him multiple times to try and get him to respond. 911 was call, and she was able to get him into the house. He refused to go to the hospital to be checked out.
My poor sister was devastated! This is the day she has worried about. Soon after both of Dean’s parents requested and received a court order to have the police come pick Dean up and take him for an evaluation. The faculty that reviewed Dean, determined he needed to be held for several days. Dean was recently released from the faculty.
Dean has never asked to go into a treatment facility before. All the other times he went he truly didn’t feel like he had a problem. This time it has clicked, Dean has admitted to his problems and has started down a road of recovery. He has been accepted to a local program and received a scholarship but he still has to pay $2,000.00 to get into the program. The family would love to get him in the faculty as soon as possible because he has completed detox and is sober. Dean has completed the paperwork and made all the calls to setup this treatment program. If you can give anything to help Dean get started on the right path it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and god bless you for taking the time and reading Dean’s story and praying for the family.
Sincerely,
The Kratochwil and Tesone Family
