The Support Fund for Travis Wood II

Travis Wood II was a loving son, father, husband, and friend that was taken from his family at an all too early age. Travis was involved in a fatal car accident and passed away in the early morning hours of February 18th, 2016 in Westminster, CO. He left behind loving parents, two children (A 3 year old precious boy named Sarge, and a 2 month old sweet baby boy named Travis Wood III), a loving and devoted soon to be wife, and many loving family and friends.

Travis Wood II was ex-military and working hard to support his 2 kids and start a life with his fiancé, Julie Santistevan. Julie and Travis met a little over a year ago and instantly fell in love. Having the struggles of being young and in love, they found a way to make a life for themselves. They soon found out they had been given the gift of a precious baby boy, Travis Wood III. They were both so excited and happy to have been given this miracle in their lives. When the baby was born they found out that he had Down’s syndrome. The diagnosis of Down’s syndrome meant nothing to the two proud new parents, they loved their son more than anything in the world.

Travis was a loving, sweet, kind man who always made everyone smile. He always made sure to be there for his family in any way possible. With his son having Down’s syndrome he knew that money would be an issue but was determined to do anything he could to provide the best possible care for his newborn baby boy.

Travis is a Texas native who will be laid to rest near his family in Texas. Please help us raise money to send Julie and their son to Texas so that they can say their final good byes and lay their beloved Travis to rest. Any additional funds left over will go to help Travis’s two sons, Sarge and Travis III, in this unimaginably difficult time and will be appreciated more then you could possibly know.
