Hi every body

My name is Kay (Desiree), and my heart is broken. On May 14, 2026 my mom Bonnie passed away after fighting pancreatic and lung cancer. She just turned 71 March 30th.

Losing her has been devastating, and now I’m facing the difficult reality of trying to get to her funeral to say a proper goodbye and be with family during this time. I live in Virginia Beach, and will be needing to go to durham, The travel costs — transportation, lodging, and other expenses — are more than I can manage right now while grieving.
