Train The Vets
Hi, my name is Joseph Ardito. I'm fundraising for all training and travel expenses for myself and my team leader Randy Nantz. I am a NYC native and have been an executive trainer for over thirty years. Fitness is my passion and I have been able to convert that into setting industry standards in both client results and client retention. I am certified by the American college of sports medicine (ACSM), the highest accreditation in fitness. We plan on setting up fitness classes for vets in need in gyms around the country that would like to participate in our program.
My team leader and face is a former Green Beret SFC(R) Randy Nantz. Randy and I instanly hit it off and we have been training for over
six months. We have decided to pool our talents together to form "Train The Vets." HERE IS THE INCREDIBLE STORY OF RANDY NANTZ.
Randy enlisted into the Army just after 911, even though he already had a young family with two kids. During his second tour in Iraq (DEC 22nd, 2006), he was injured and sustained a severe concussion, 25% 3rd Degree total body surface burns, large muscle tissue loss, and severe nerve damage. As a result of the nerve damage, Randy ultimately underwent below the knee amputation of his left leg. He then went on to work at the USSOCOM Care Coalition and the Green Beret Foundation as the Director of Programs. He gained experience and knowledge from his tenure and duties in those two organizations, Randy, helped or assisted in some way over 4,000 Special Operations Service Members and their Families.
Through the many struggles that he persevered through, coupled with his experience in helping many others start or continue their journey of recovery, he has learned that it is through the service of others that true healing begins. Helping others to achieve their goals and finding a way to move forward after a life-changing event has become a passion of Randy's. He wants nothing more than to help others realize their total potential no matter the circumstance.
We humbly ask that you join our team by donating today. No amount is too small, and no amount is too considerable. How far are you willing to go to help someone else. That is the only question. Randy and I are prepared to go the full measure by opening a gym for a base of operations and then traveling wherever we need to go to help get people off the couch and outside or in a gym doing something to help better themselves. We are willing to provide individual, group, or team-building events and classes for the masses to achieve our objective. Will you help us get there?
