On August 21, 2021, Chantelle Patterson was headed home with her fiance from making food deliveries when her vehicle was struck on the passenger side by someone fleeing from another hit and run incident. She died a short time later. Fatal Car Crash Chantelle Patterson was a mother, grandmother, fiance, sister, daughter, aunt and friend.

Chantelle has been a part of my life in a major way. My son Gabe died at the age of 12 years old in 2015 and for the past 6 years, she has been a volunteer with my organization Gabe's Heart Foundation . In fact, she loved my son and the organization so much that her last post on Facebook was about volunteering with my organization this year!

I am heading up this campaign on behalf of her daughter, Bree Torrence to make sure that Chantelle's family can take care of all of her final expenses. Bree is not only having to cope with her emotions of her mother being killed, but she's also trying to navigate the financial end of all of this in the wake of such a sudden tragedy.
