Tony Ortiz's Cancer Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Rosaria Hernandez (a/k/a Tia Rosaria). As many of you know, Tony has been diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. What began as a pain in his upper back in July has turned into much more than anyone could have ever imagined for someone so healthy. While accepting this news has been very difficult for everyone, we promise to remain optimistic and pray that Tony will beat this disease. Tony and Rosie have put everything in God’s hands and have full confidence that his healthcare team will treat him with utmost care and compassion.

Since Tony was a little boy he has always been strong, courageous and willing to face any challenge that comes his way and we believe in our hearts that he will overcome this one. Tony has said that his children think of him as “Superman” and he would like nothing more than to show them that he is!

Tony and Rosie have always been selfless and would not feel comfortable asking for any type of help yet I know so many of you love Tony and would want to help him and his family during this difficult time. 

A donation of any amount will help lessen the stress and financial burden that comes from the loss of wages and incoming medical bills.  And if you cannot donate, we still invite you to send your prayers, words of encouragement, share your stories (I remember that time when…lol) and express your love for Tony and his family on this page.
