Tom's Veterinary Fund

This is a fund for Tom the tabby cat's veterinary bills.  Tom is a male rescued stray cat found in the city of Covina, California.  Tom is less than a year old and is very malnourished.  His ears and neck are covered in thick layers of scabs.  Tom has a very rare form of mange called Notoedric Mange.  We rushed Tom to our veterinarian for blood tests, sub-q fluids, vitamin injections, and skin scrapings to determine his mange type.  Tom's condition, although rare, is treatable.  He has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.  He will need to continue vet visits for the next few months for treatment of his mange.  We will also be neutering him and vaccinating him once his health improves. 

Tom is being treated by Dr. Cruz at Laguna Hills Animal Hospital.

Please help us save Tom! He is a sweet boy that was clearly asking for help from humans.  We want to see him fully recovered and hopefully eventually adopted in to a loving, permanent home.
