Tommy Todd’s Memorial Fund

Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of my Uncle Tommy.  He rode with the angels and joined his parents, Willard and Elma Todd, the afternoon of August 4, 2020.  He is survived by his wife Sandi and their children, Aryana and Ryden, as well as his older children, Bridgett, Amanda, Stevan, Molly and their families, and his two sisters, Trisha and Linda.

The number one question around a death is always......Why?  or What happened?  Let me be clear when I say we will never officially 100% know for sure (thanks to the med examiner refusing an autopsy due to COVID); HOWEVER, evidence found with him strongly indicates a medical emergency.  It could have been a heat stroke, a heart attack, anything. Regardless, the Lord decided it was his time so we must find some peace in that.

My Uncle Tommy was probably one of the most ornery individuals I have ever known.   I bet you just laughed right now.  :)  With that, though, came A LOT of love and respect.  When he loved, he loved hard.  He was a provider.  Tommy worked hard every day to provide for his family.....day and night, rain or shine, weekends and holidays.  He helped those in need as best he could from cash to food to a spot on his couch.  He’d pick you up if you were stranded and then help you fix your car.  That’s just the kind of person he was.  To say he’d give the shirt off his back is a gross understatement.

Services will be held at Mountain of Life Church located at 13002 W. Tara Lane in Surprise, AZ 85374 on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm.  A catered gathering will be held afterwards.
