Together We Grow Community Garden Fence

As a Girl Scout for the last 13 years, I understand the importance of being an active part of my community.  For my Girl Scout Gold Award, I am building a community garden where families and individuals can gather, learn about various growing techniques, and contribute to the environment. I am raising funds for the construction of a fence to surround the garden.  There are currently 30 8x8 foot plots available to adopt free of charge on 5th Street, Oneonta, NY.  To "adopt" a plot, you must complete an application agreeing to maintain your green space and respect what other community members are growing.
