Todd is one of the most genuine guys I know. He and his wife Lori always make you feel at ease, and at home. Our family has become good friends with theirs, and when Todd found out about some serious medical issues, I had to try to help.
Todd has always had high blood pressure that is unresponsive to medications, but no one could figure out why... until recently. He has a severe coarcation of his heart's aorta. To make matters worse, Todd has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and a brain aneurism.
Todd's aortic coarcation requires heart surgery, and soon. And he may need brain surgery for his aneurism as well.
Todd and Lori are leaving five of their six children behind to travel to Salt Lake City, Utah, to meet Todd's surgical team on August 9. Travel expenses, lodging, childcare, food, copays, and time off work will cause major financial challenges for this sweet family.
