On Friday, July 19, Todd Givens was doing like he does every day, enjoying and living his life to the fullest. He fell while skateboarding and hit his head. He was rushed to the Wake Med with severe head trauma where he was placed on life support. After a long day and a hard fight, Todd passed away Saturday night around midnight. He is remembered by all who knew him as a big-hearted and full of life. 

Todd made an impact on everyone he met by making them laugh, however the person he had one of the biggest impacts on is his young wife, Kylie. Todd and Kylie met in August of 2017 and were married in April of 2019. They were hoping to build a family together as they both wanted children. Todd leaves Kylie behind with unforeseen medical expenses and responsibilities. Not only has this tragic accident caused a loss and heartbreak, it has also has created a financial burden that she shouldn't have to withstand alone.
