Help us to take Dr Winifred Kisitu back to Uganda

Hi, my name is Moira Kisitu and I am fundraising to honour my Mum's wish.

On 1st/May/2024, my beloved mother Winifred Kisitu succumbed to breast cancer, which she had battled for five years.

Mum and Dad came to Scotland in 1998. Mum earned her MSc and PhD in early childhood education, while having and raising three adoring children.

She became a pillar of the Ugandan community in Scotland, supporter of parents, families in the UK and beyond.

In 2019, Mum began to put up a spirited fight against breast cancer but found time to advise many parents, write books and nurture her family.

Although Mum has lived in Scotland and loved every moment she and her family spent here, her heart remained in Uganda her home country.

It is our duty and desire to honour her wish to take her back home to finally rest.

Please help us to take Mum back home.
