Help Snoe, find a Wig & with her hair loss journey

Hi, my name is Snoe and I am losing my hair due to an autoimmune illness (Lupus).

Let me start by saying: No, it’s not just hair to me. It will not grow back, unfortunately.❤️‍

My hair, most likely won’t ever grow back to the way it was.

I have lost nearly 60% of my hair so far, and I am struggling with that.

It’s hard as a long hair girly to accept that I am loosing most of my hair, due to my body attacking the hair follicles.

Lupus, is a systemic illness, that falsely attacks healthy cells in the body and essentially fights your own system.

It can attack anything from organs to hair follicles.

Every day, when I wake up, I find more hair that fell out overnight, on my pillow or my clothes. I look in the mirror to find myself becoming more and more bald, and my heart breaks.

I won’t lie, my hair was always my little security blanket. It made me feel like me, confident.

I struggle a lot with my hair loss. I try to cover the balder spots as well as I can, daily.

It’s a struggle because, with so little hair left, there is not much to cover them up with.

I feel extremely self conscious about my hair loss, feeling like people look at my hair, and parting of my hair every day.

Most days, I dread going out, as I don’t feel confident with my hair and the bald spots anymore.

It’s tough with a chronic illness, as medical bills don’t ever stop. Human hair wigs that are beautiful and professionally-made are extremely costly, they are hard to save up for.

I have the most beautiful client base. All of my clients tell me daily that they would like to help me get a couple of real human hair wigs.

Their words and hearts have inspired me to set up a gofundme now, for anyone who wants to help with my wig journey.

I am so thankful and I cannot wait to feel a little more confident again. To not have one more reminder that I have a chronic illness that I’m fighting all day every day.

I day dream of going out again and not having to worry about my hair loss being the first thing someone sees when they look at me.

I want to raise awareness for hair loss, no matter what type of hair loss anyone goes through. It makes people feel uncomfortable, upset, scared, and deeply sad. It’s not just hair to most of us going through extreme hair loss.
