Help Sky Breathe Again

Please help my sweet boy Sky get the life-saving scan he desperately needs.

Hi everyone,
My name is Anna, and I’m fundraising for my beloved cat, Sky. He’s my beautiful, gentle boy, always full of love, personality, and cuddles. Sadly, over the last few weeks, Sky’s health has taken a heartbreaking turn.

Sky has developed a lump growing inside his nose, and it’s making it very difficult for him to breathe. He also bleeds from his nose, and sometimes you can hear how hard it is for him to draw in air. Watching him struggle like this has been absolutely devastating he still tries to be his loving, playful self, but it’s clear he’s uncomfortable and unwell.

⸻

What’s Happening

I took Sky to the vet as soon as I noticed something wasn’t right. They’ve done several tests, including bloodwork, X-rays, and various treatments to keep him comfortable and stable. Unfortunately, the vets now believe that to find out exactly what’s causing this — whether it’s a nasal polyp, infection, or possibly a tumour Sky urgently needs a CT scan under anaesthetic.

This is the only way to see what’s going on inside his nasal passages and to plan the right treatment to help him breathe properly again.

⸻

The Cost

The CT scan and related care are estimated to cost around £3,500. I’ve already spent a lot on the tests and vet visits so far (you can see the estimates attached), but this next step is simply more than I can manage on my own.

Heartbreakingly, my pet insurance won’t cover the cost because I took out the policy after discovering the problem, they consider it a “pre-existing condition.”

So now, I’m turning to the kindness of others , friends, animal lovers, and anyone who understands how much our pets mean to us to help give Sky a fighting chance.

⸻

Why Sky Means So Much

Sky isn’t “just a cat” he’s family. He’s been with me through thick and thin, always there with his quiet purrs and comforting presence. He’s the kind of cat who makes everyone smile, even strangers, with his bright eyes (he has two different coloured eyes!) and his gentle nature.

He’s still fighting, still trying to play and cuddle despite how hard breathing has become for him. I owe it to him to do everything I can to get him the care he needs.

⸻

How You Can Help

Every single penny raised will go directly toward Sky’s veterinary costs, including:
• His CT scan (£3,500)
• Possible follow-up treatment or surgery, depending on what the scan reveals
• Medication or hospital care to keep him comfortable and stable in the meantime

Even the smallest donation helps — truly. £1, £5, £10… it all adds up.
If you can’t donate, please share Sky’s story with others. Sharing helps just as much as donating and means the world to us.
