TJAAG for Education Equity: We Need Your Help

Will you spare $25, the cost of a night out, or even just the price of a cup of coffee to support a more equitable education for Northern Virginia children?

As the TJ Alumni Action Group, we've accomplished a lot in the past year, and now have an opportunity for all to contribute so that we don't lose the momentum we've built. Each and every one of us is an unpaid volunteer, and we need your help for crucial expenses:

• FOIA Processing: much of the research and analysis we have conducted is based on data requested through the Freedom of Information Act. These requests have associated costs, but they are well worth it. This vital information informs our position on policy proposals, serves as the foundation for our reports and statistics we share publicly, and helps us advocate for sensible solutions with decision makers.

• 501(c)(4) Incorporation Fees: after much deliberation, TJAAG leadership decided to incorporate as a nonprofit. This structure allows us to better manage our organization logistically and financially in the long-term.
