Help Tiquisia & Sons Study Abroad

Tiquisia and her three sons have been offered the opportunity of a lifetime. As part of her post-secondary program to get her degree in Psychology, she was offered an opportunity to travel abroad in May 2018 for The Central European Humanitarian Program. This program surveys and interacts with Czech organizations, in Olomouc, Czech Republic, that work to support various populations to include the homeless, mentally disabled children, parents with children experiencing hardships and teens/adults coping with drug addiction.

The department chair and program recognized an obstacle for Tiquisia as she is a single mother of three.  They amazingly created a sub-program in which her sons could participate so that they could all be together. This will not only increase their awareness of social issues on a more global scale, but it will also support Tiquisia’s desire to impart to her sons the importance of service. This experience will also set them apart from their pupils when being considered for college acceptance and future employers.

We want to help Tiquisia and her sons get to the Czech Republic.

All funds will go toward paying for this trip and securing items needed for this multi-week opportunity.  Any donation helps and all are welcomed and appreciated.
