Anyone who knows Tim Smith, fuzzy-hat, round sunglass-wearing, weirdly-tuning, singing, smacking bass player, knows he's a beautiful soul.  

     As many of you finally know, Tim has been fighting a long battle against cancer.  Like his passion for music, so is his passion for life, family & dear friends!  For many, many years, Tim has been able to pursue his love of music, making an income playing along with many talented Long Island musicians.  

     However, now, Tim has been unable to play & has had to turn down many jobs over the past several months as his illness has progressed.  Not only has his inability to perform been especially hard on his psyche but it has also affected his income.  It has been a difficult time especially since he is now at home on hospice.  His wife, Linda, has also not been able to work, instead staying home to care for all his needs.
 
     Tim is really an extraordinary human being who has always been selfless & supportive to everyone he meets.  He has been instrumental in raising money for those in need playing benefit concerts, mentoring novice musicians as they begin their musical journeys & never turns his back on anyone..... he is a beautiful soul.

     Anything you donate will greatly help defray some of the cost of accumulating bills since Tim & Linda are unable to work.  Our wish for Tim & Linda is that they not worry about bills piling up, but instead, enjoy being surrounded by dear friends & loving family  & spending precious time together.
