Supporting Tim, Hew, and Owain After the Heartbreaking Loss of Lorraine

On Friday, 28th November 2025, Lorraine began her morning as she always did — bringing joy, love, and her beautiful smile to her family. She dropped off her two boys, Hew (5) and Owain (10), at school, her usual bubbly, caring self. But just hours later, tragedy struck. Lorraine suffered a sudden major brain bleed and collapsed at home. Found by Hew and Owain upon returning from school. Despite every effort to save her, she heartbreakingly passed away on the 29th of November, surrounded by her loving family.

Lorraine was an extraordinary wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend — a woman with the biggest heart and an unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. She was a proud supporter of the Poppy Appeal and poured love and kindness into everything she did. Her light touched so many lives, and losing her has left an unfillable space in the hearts of all who knew her.

On the day of her collapse, her young boys left school and walked the short distance home, only to find their mum “asleep” on the couch. Emergency services had to break a window to be able to get her to the ambulance, The trauma and devastation this family has endured is unimaginable, and their world has changed forever in a single moment.

We are coming together to support her devoted husband, Tim, and their two young boys during this incredibly painful time. No family should have to face such overwhelming grief while also worrying about funeral costs, bills, and everyday expenses. Our goal is to raise as much as we can to help Tim find his footing as he navigates life without his beautiful wife and focuses on caring for his boys.
