This happy guy is really sick

To our sweet community near and far,

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support. Your thoughts and prayers are felt constantly. Thank you for sharing the energy of your heart with us, it is working.

Alex has been discharged from the hospital, and he is feeling "better". Fever is down for multiple days, rash dissipating, and feels like he is “outta the woods". It felt touch and go for a few days there and your prayers and energy were deeply felt. He still has the standard symptoms he’s been dealing with for the past couple of months, but he is feeling capable to go on short walks and eat.

We're identifying a team of doctors to utilize and that's up in NY where they can continue investigating treatment and diagnosis, we will head up there in the next few days and see where that takes us.

We may be out of touch as we shuffle the cards of life to deal the hand we need for healing. Your outreach, love, and support have held us during some of the darkest hours. Trusting the return of the light as we welcome in spring.
