My name is Jude, and I’m13 years old. I have been deprived of my childhood. Everything has been lost. My school, my toys, and even our house burned down. My family has suffered so much. Before the displacement, my father provided for us all in a beautiful house, and my mother did not deprive me of anything. Now, we live in a tent vulnerable to all the elements. It’s extremely hot in the summer, very cold in the winter, and it floods in the rain. I’m too afraid to go to our house. It’s a border area 3 kilometers away from the border tourists, but it is not safe to return to and it is destroyed. I miss everything about it I appeal to you as a 13 year old girl trying to save her family. Every single day brings new fear as we must determine how we will raise donations for food, winter clothing, and proper shelter. We anticipate many days of hunger, cold, and wetness during the winter months if we cannot collect these funds.
