What?
We have decided to collaborate on a senior project, which is an amazing opportunity for us to put together a 60-90 minute stand-alone production or 20-30 minute festival choice of our choosing.  A few months ago, we proposed our stand-alone of THE SKRIKER to the THP Board and received approval for a three night run of this beautiful show.

Synopsis:
THE SKRIKER is a play written by Caryl Churchill which is a blend of English folktales with modern urban life elements and tells the story of an ancient fairy in pursuit of two young mothers, Lily and Josie.
Set in London, England, the play follows THE SKRIKER, a shape-shifting fairy from the underworld, in its search for love and revenge, changing its shape at every new encounter. Along with THE SKRIKER, Lily, and Josie comes Rawheadandbloodybones, the Kelpie, the Green Lady, Black Dog and many other immensely intriguing characters, until the whole country is swarming with enticing and angry creatures that have burst from the underworld.

When/Where?
Our production will be going up the weekend of April 12th-14th at the Purchase Performing Arts Center, Underground Theater.

What will you be helping?
This production is 100% self-funded so all of the money donated to this campaign will be used directly for rights for the script, costume and set pieces, marketing materials and more!

Why?
THE SKRIKER showcases human nature, in all forms.  It's a commentary on how we as people treat each other and what we let get done to us. This script truly explores humanity in its rawest form of how we interact with others, the world, our environment around us and how incredibly important and beautiful treating all of those things with care is. This piece is so incredibly human and we are so beyond honored to bring it to life.
