Theresa O'Reilly Memorial Fund

Theresa grew up in Bakersfield California and as a child always enjoyed playing in the acres of dirt available. After raising her children, she found her calling in playing with clay. Theresa has taught hundreds of children and adults and helped them in creating their own artwork. We lost her suddenly on Thanksgiving Day and the pain and shock is devastating. None of us can really wrap our minds around the fact that she is no longer with us. Her pottery business and lessons have come to a halt and her husband and young apprentice are trying to figure out how to go on without her. Theresa's family, friends and students all want to be able to help them through the hard days ahead but they are overwhelmed because of all the challenges in front of them.
With all of the emotional pain and stress that her death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for her family to help with the funeral and the many costs that they will incur in the coming weeks and months as they reorganize her teaching and production business. As the family tries to learn how to live without her, please consider helping them. Theresa brought so much purpose, knowledge and happiness to others and we will miss her every day of our lives.
